Antivirus 2009 is all the latest craze in Spyware infestation. It looks legitimate to the average computer user when it first "pops" up and entices you to let it clean up your spyware/malware laden pc. Antivirus 2009 is infact the very thing it claims to remove.... spyware. It will 'scan" you pc once installed, showing you a list of all your infections and even goes so far as to change Google search pages to make you think you are infected.
REMOVAL:
1) Download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware from http://www.malwarebytes.org/
2) Save the file to your Desktop, close all other programs, then install MBAM (file you just saved to desktop).
3) Begin the program, allow it to update and then perform the Quick Scan.
4) Allow MBAM to remove any questionable software it finds.
5) Restart your computer.
You should now be rid of Antivirus 2009!
