Calibrate XBOX 360 HDMI settings
Set X360′s resolution to AUTO (720p or 1080P), reference level to standard and HDMI color space to YCbCr709.
Download all the images from this link and transfer them on an optical media (in DATA format) or onto a USB flash memory. View each image in full screen so that you can compare the level of improvement after calibration.
Before proceeding, make sure to set the color temperature to warm, disable all image enhancing features and light sensor. (this is a great time to get out your LCD panel/Television/Projectors user manual for specifics)
Backlight (If Available):
It is recommended that the backlight should be set to less than half the total value. So if the backlight value ranges from 0 – 10, it should be set to 5 or below.
Brightness (Black Level):
Make the room dark as possible. Display the black image labeled NEC Black and lower the brightness level to 25%, then slowly increase the value until you start to see a change in black level. Once you’ve found it, double check to see if it’s accurate. You can do that by increasing the value by one and decreasing the value by one. When you increase, the black level should change, when you decrease, it shouldn’t.

Codename: Jasper, Xbox 360′s latest motherboard
What is a Jasper console? Jasper is the latest revision of Xbox 360. The console does not look any different, and does not operate ”faster“… but it is cooler! The PSU (power supply) has changed, as well as the GPU die size. The PSU is now 150W (as opposed to 175W with Falcon) and the GPU is now 65nm. With this revision the 360 is now a full 65nm console, with both the CPU and GPU die size being 65nm. Since the original Xbox 360 was plaqued with problems due to heat, each revision (Falcon, now Jasper) has been designed to require less power, which means less heat.
Here is a comparison of power usage between all of the 360 revisions, including Jasper:
How to find a Jasper console in stores: Unfortunately there is no guaranteed way of finding a Jasper console at this point, even if all of the below information matches (or exceeds) a console in stores. Please keep this in mind while trying to find a Jasper console, and when you are posting in this thread.
The following information is from confirmed Jasper consoles. Your best bet is to try and match this exactly before you purchase a new 360, as newer consoles More >

XBOX 360 repairs
I have been receiving quite a few calls asking for XBOX 360 repair. There are two problems that seem to plague the 360. The RROD (Red Ring of Death) and Dirty Disk/Disk Unreadable/Insert this Disk in a Xbox360 to Play errors. Both are due to internal hardware issues. The Disk Errors tend to affect the Samsung Drives the most and are due to slow spin up speeds making the DVD Double Density Disk hard to read properly, generating the error. The RROD is contributed to heat problems causing chips to unseat themselves.
Microsoft has extended the Warranty on ALL XBOX 360′s to three (3) years for HARDWARE errors!
Quoted from Wikipedia “Initially, Microsoft repaired consoles under the 90 day warranty for free, and charged $140 to repair out-of-warranty consoles. In December, 2006, Microsoft extended the warranty of all Xbox 360 consoles to 1 year, and in July, 2007, as a result of “an unacceptable number of repairs to Xbox 360 consoles,” extended it to 3 years for consoles experiencing general hardware failures, a warranty length covering all Xbox 360s sold.Additionally, customers who paid to have their out-of-warranty consoles repaired would be reimbursed. Microsoft stated that they reserved US$ 1.15 Billion for fixing More >
