The Memphis PC Guy, Mike Oyler, helps people with the transition from self-professed computer illiterate to informed computer user. Prior to becoming the Memphis PC Guy, Mike spent over 20 years as a computer systems engineer, network administrator and website developer.

How long have you been in business?
Memphis PC Guy has been around since 2005. Prior to 2005 I served as a consultant and computer IT contractor for 15 years serving the Memphis community

What is your primary product or service?
Onsite computer repair, laptop repair, software support, malware removal, computer networking and more. If you do it with, on, or to a computer I can help you.

How did you first become interested in your line of business? – What is your background?
Started as a hobby with a Tandy 1000. In 1987 I got my first personal computer, a Packard-Bell 386sx. I created a online BBS system called “The Pinedale Country Club” that allowed me to learn Microsoft DOS. My first job was selling PC’s for Computer Warehouse in the old Service Merchandise building on Winchester.

I moved into system repair in the mid 1990’s working for Flagship Computers and Managing PC Complete in Germantown. In 1999 I joined an internet startup as Chief Technology Officer, selecting, installing and maintaining the network and automated signup and billing systems. In 2005 I opened my home office and website to provide high quality onsite computer repair servicing Memphis, Tennessee and the surrounding communities

How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Living in Memphis, our cost of living is substantially lower than other cities of the same size. I provide onsite computer services at a third of the cost other computer repair businesses charge for you to take your computer to them. I enjoy the interaction with my clients and enjoy meeting new computers.

What type of payments do you accept?
I accept Cash, Check and Credit/Debit cards upon completion.

Which areas do you service?
I service a 25 mile radius in and around Memphis, Tennessee. You can select BOOK NOW to schedule my next available appointment!

What are your hours of operation?
Calls are scheduled online in 1 hour and 2 hour increments. I book calls Monday-Friday between 9:00am-4:00pm. You can schedule the day and time best for you on my website. Need to schedule for after-hours or on a weekend? Contact me directly

What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
“He’s a genuine guy that really wants to help.”
